Sitka Gold Corp. [SIG-TSXV, OTCQB-SITKF, 1RF-FSE] has released an update on the 60,000-metre diamond drill program currently underway at its 100%-owned, road accessible RC Gold Project in the Canadian Yukon.

The company said the latest results continue to expand the high-grade gold zone at the Blackjack deposit and continues to expand the mineralized envelope at the Rhosgobel deposit.

Sitka said step out drilling results at the Blackjack deposit, include hole DDRCCC-26-128, which returned 348.0 metres of 1.12 g/t gold, including 164.0 metres of 1.83 g/t gold, 45.0 metres of 3.49 g/t gold, 2.0 metres of 15.35 g/t gold and 2.0 metres of 13.65 g/t gold.

Sitka is reporting that the first seven holes received from the 30,000 metres of drilling allocated to Rhosgobel this year continue to expand the Rhosgobel deposit with intervals of higher-grade mineralization within broad zones of mineralized quartz monzonite.

Highlight include drill hole DDRCRG-26-049 which returned 74.8 metres of 0.91 g/t gold, including 56.1 metres of 1.12 g/t and 3.4 metres 4.01 g/t gold. Drill hold DDRCRG-26-044 returned 11.4 metres of 1.00 g/t gold and 28.1 metres of 1.08 g/t gold, including 7.3 metres of 2.87 g/t gold.

Six drill rigs are currently turning on the project at the Blackjack, Saddle, Eiger, and Rhosgobel zones. Approximately 24,000 metres of diamond drilling has been completed to date this year in 47 drill holes across the Blackjack and Rhosgobel deposts as part of the ongoing 60,000-metre drill program planned for 2026. Assays are pending for all remaining holes that have been completed to date this year.

Sitka Gold shares moved lower, Monday, easing 0.97% or $0.01 to $1.02. The shares trade in a 52-week range of $1.36 and 58 cents.

The company’s flagship asset is the RC Gold project, which is located 100 kilometres east of Dawson City, Yukon, in the Tombstone Gold Belt, a region that includes Banyan Gold Co.’s (BYN-TSXV) Aurmac project, and Snowline Gold Corp.’s [SGD-TSX, SNWGF-OTCQB] Valley discovery.

The RC project hosts an indicated resource of 1.29 million ounces of gold and an inferred resource of 3.83 million ounces of gold hosted within the Blackjack, Rhosgobel and Eiger zones.

“These latest drill results continue to demonstrate the exceptional scale, continuity and growth potential of the RC Gold Project,’’ said Cor Coe, CEO of Sitka Gold. “Results like these continue to strengthen our confidence that the Blackjack deposit remains open and has significant potential for further expansion,’’ he said. “At the same time, the first seven holes received from the 30,000 metres of drilling allocated to Rhosgobel this year continue to validate and expand what is already one of Canada’s newest multi-million-ounce gold discoveries,” Coe went on to say that the broad mineralized intervals that are being intersected, along with localized higher-grade zones and encouraging tungsten values, reinforce the company’s view that Rhosgobel has the potential to be an increasingly important component of the RC Gold Project.
