The company has announced the appointment of David Wiens as CEO and Director, and Shane Parrow as President, Chief Operating Officer, and Director, effective August 17, 2026 and July 27, 2026, respectively.

The company said the appointments bring together extensive capital markets, mine financing, project development and Alaska operating experience as the company enters the next phase focused on completing a feasibility study, advancing permitting, securing financing and positioning the Livengood Project for development.

Livengood, which contains 13 million ounces of gold resources, ranks as one of the largest undeveloped gold projects in the United States.

Wiens brings more than two decades of mining finance, capital markets and strategic leadership experience across the global mining sector. He most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of Asante Gold Corp. [ASE-TSXV, ASGOF-OTC, 1A9-Frankfurt], where he led approximately $1.0 billion of innovating financing transactions to support its growth into a mid-tier gold producer while transforming its shareholder register. Prior to Asante, he held executive roles at a number of American-focused production and development stage mining companies, including SSR Mining Inc. [SSRM-TSX, NASDAQ, SSR-ASX] and Bunker Hill Mining Corp. [BNKR-TSX, BHLL-OTCQB]. He was previously a mining investment banker at several financial institutions, including Deutsche Bank.

He replaces Karl Hanneman, who remains with the company has strategic advisor and director.

In connection with his appointment, Weins has agreed to subscribe for US$200,000 worth of common shares in the company, reflecting his confidence in the company’s long term prospects. The private placement is expected to close after he takes up the new position.

Most recently, he served as Vice President & General Manager of Kinross Alaska, overseeing the Fort Knox and Manh Choh operations.

Parrow has been granted 312,500 Inducement RSUs and Wiens will receive US$1.65 million in Inducement RSUs on his start date in August., with the number of inducement RSUs he receives being determined with reference to the five-day volume weighted average price of the common shares on the NYSE American on his start date.

International Tower Hill controls 100% of the Livengood Gold Project. The company said it ranks as the largest North American gold-only deposit that is not wholly-owned by a producer. The project hosts a measured and indicated resource of 704.5 million tonnes of grade 0.60 g/t gold or 13.6 million contained ounces. On top of that is an inferred resource of 16 million tonnes of grade 0.40 g/t gold or 207,000 ounces.
