Apex is a Canadian exploration company with a focus on advancing rare earth element (REE) and niobium projects that support the growing demand for critical and strategic metals across the United States and Canada. They include the Rift REE Project in southeastern Nebraska, which is located in the Elk Creek Carbonatite Complex, and hosts extensive rare earth rights surrounding one of North America’s most advanced niobium-REE deposits. Historical drilling across the complex has reported broad intervals of high grade REE mineralization, including intercepts such as 155.5 metres of 2.70% REO (rare earth oxide) and 68.2 metres of 3.32% REO.
In a press release on October 5, 2026, the company said the latest results from two western step-out drill holes (RIFT26-022 and RIFT26-024) mark an exciting milestone for the project, representing material intersections of greater than 4.00% REO and further validation of the broader mineralized Trinity Zone along the primary east-west drill fences. The company said identifying additional rare earth magnet feedstock beyond the one producer in North America is a national priority in the United States and results from Apex Critical’s 2026 drill program at the Rift project continue to demonstrate a significant grade scale and profile. It said it has extended the Trinity Zone 200 metres with 3.55% RE0 over 116 metres and 2.35% over 171.5 metres in western-step out drilling at Rift. The latest results include the longest intervals of plus 4.00% REO on the project to date and support the presence of higher-grade core within the Trinity Zone. Approximately 37 holes (24,000 metres) have been completed to date with results from 13 holes (over 8,000 metres) pending. Drilling continues on site.
