Scottie Resources Corp. [SCOT-TSXV] has reported additional high-grade gold intercepts from its 2026 drilling at the Blueberry Contact Zone within the Scottie Gold Mine project in British Columbia.  The road accessible Scottie Gold Mine project, which includes the 100%-owned historic mine and adjacent Blueberry Contact Zone is located 35 kilometres north of Stewart, B.C.

Scottie said it has completed its largest drilling program in the company’s history, with 61,578 metres drilled across 227 holes. Assays are expected throughout the remainder of 2026 and into early 2027. The company said an updated mineral resource estimate (MRE) and feasibility study is expected by early in the first half of 2027. The new MRE is expected to include an additional 90,000 metres of drilling since the initial MRE in Spring, 2025.

In its latest press release, the company said the third batch of results from the 2026 drill program delivers significant high-grade gold intercepts across the Blueberry, Fifi, and Road vein systems, demonstrating the strength and continuity of mineralization across the Blueberry Contact Zone.

Drilling highlights include multiple high-grade intercepts at Blueberry, including hole SR26-526, which returned 23.1 g/t gold over 7.00 metres, including 72.9 g/t gold over 2.10 metres, and including 138 g/t gold over 1.00 metre at Blueberry 3, and 23.1 g/t gold over 6.0 metres, including 38.3 g/t gold over 3.00 metres, at Blueberry 5.  Hole SR26-532 returned 12.4 g/t gold over 5.75 metres at Blueberry 3.

Scottie shares advanced on the news, rising 2.12% or $0.04 to $2.41. The shares trade in a 52-week range of $3.23 and $1.45.

Scottie’s current resource estimate at the Scottie Gold Mine project includes 703,000 gold ounces at an average grade of 6.1 g/t gold (inferred) inj 3.6 million tonnes. The company said this highlights the potential for a significant near-surface, high grade gold deposit. Its strategy is to continue expanding this resource and to define additional mineralization around past-producing mines through systematic drilling and surface exploration.

The company recently completed a preliminary economic assessment for the Scottie Gold Mine. It estimates initial capital costs of $128.6 million, average annual production of 65,400 ounces of gold over seven years and a payback period of 1.7 years.

“One of the most compelling aspects of the Blueberry Contact Zone is that we continue to uncover new opportunities within an already impressive high-grade gold system,” said Scottie President and CEO Thomas Mumford. “We’re seeing significant high-grade across multiple veins, continuing at depth, and are discovering new veins within the existing proposed mine plan, demonstrating additional opportunities as our understanding of the deposit increases,’’ he said. “That’s an exciting position to be in as we continue to unlock the potential of the Blueberry.’’
