Aegis Expands U.S. Market Presence with New Energy Storage Orders
Aegis Critical Energy Defence Corp. [QESS-CSE, QESSF-OTCQB, JG6-Frankfurt] has begun shipping its first seven PWR Flex 261Q battery energy storage systems to the United States, marking the company’s first commercial shipment of a storage system built to its design. The units were ordered through U.S. channel partner GGV Energy in May and are expected to be installed before the end of 2026.
A second order from GGV Energy for 14 additional units, valued at approximately $1.35 million, is scheduled for delivery during the first quarter of 2027. Together, the orders represent 21 systems with approximately 5.5 MWh of combined storage capacity, destined for customers across multiple U.S. states. The latest order will support backup power and peak shaving for a private infrastructure support group.
Each outdoor-rated PWR Flex 261Q provides 261 kWh of storage and 135 kW of output. Manufactured by Taiwan’s SEETEL New Energy, the systems incorporate Aegis-designed energy management controls and quantum random number generator technology from Quantum eMotion to secure control and data communications.
The company is also targeting applications in mining, defence, oil and gas, and data centres. From November 17 to 20, Aegis plans to showcase its energy storage products and developing HYPRC fast-response technology during Canada’s Energy Storage & Grid Tech Roadshow in California and Arizona.
The repeat order represents an important commercial milestone for Aegis as it establishes a U.S. market presence, with installations that could serve as reference sites for future sales.
