Metal & Mining ETF Performance H1.2026
iShares Lithium & Battery Producers ETF and WisdomTree Tin ETF were performance leaders in the first half of 2026. This, as there were several new ETF issues for Critical Mineral ETFs and Critical Mineral Miner ETFs during H1.2026. Tin prices rallied +70% at their peak with booming demand from the artificial intelligence and semiconductor sectors.

Japan Physical Platinum ETF and Japan Physical Palladium ETF were performance losers in the first half of 2026 (measured in USD Dollar $) . This, as a result of a selloff in Platinum Group Metals combined with JPY Yen ¥ currency depreciation.
New Metal & Mining ETF Issues H1.2026 (10 New Issues)
During the first 6 months of 2026 we recorded 10 new Metal & Mining ETFs issues. This brings the total to 269 Metal & Mining ETFs worldwide.
There were 4 new Critical Mineral ETF product launches and 4 ETF Natural Resource Income ETF product launches. China Asset Management Company ChinaAMC launched the first digital gold ETF. There were new ETF products issued for leveraged: 2X platinum, 2X palladium and 2X copper.
