GR Silver Mining Ltd. [GRSL-TSXV, OTCQB, GPE-Frankfurt] has announced positive drill results from a resource expansion program at the San Marcial Area in the Plomosas project in Mexico.

The company said diamond drilling on the SE Extension target confirms the extension of high-grade silver mineralization for at least an additional 150 metres to the southeast of the 2023 NI 43-101-compliant resource estimate.

“The results from two new resource expansion areas at San Marcial demonstrate the continued effectiveness of our 20,000-metre drilling program and reinforce our confidence on the exploration potential of both the Southeastern Extension and the Parallel Breccia,’’ said GR Silver President and CEO Eric Zaunscherb. “We look forward to further advancing these targets as we continue to better define and expand the mineralized system,’’ he said. “As the program advances, new data will allow us to follow up on higher-grade features like the dilation zone intersected in Hole SMS26-04 in the SE Area, which returned 45.1 metres estimated true width at 1,623 g/t silver, including 8.25 metres true width at 8,579 g/t silver.

The latest drilling highlights include SMS26-07, which intersected two distinct mineralized zones in the SE Extension target and returned 21.9 metres true width at 168 g/t silver and 1.41% zinc from 191.5 metres down hole, including 6.15 metres true width at 447 g/t silver and 0.85% zinc.

SMS26-08 intersected a near-surface mineralized zone composed of quartz-calcite-tourmaline stockworks developed at the intersection with a NE-SW trending structure.  It returned 2.85 metres true width at 340 g/t silver and 0.32 g/t gold, from 63 metres down hole

GR Silver shares advanced on the news, rising 3.2% or $0.01 to 32 cents. The shares trade in a 52-week range of 74 cents and 15 cents.

The Plomosas Project, including the recent high-grade silver discovery in the San Marcial SE Area, is progressing in 2026 as an emerging high-grade silver district located in the southwestern edge of the Sierra Madre Occidental, at the border of Durango and Sinaloa. The project, covering 7,823 hectares, including the historical Plomosas underground mine, benefits from mine infrastructure, road access and existing permits associated with the past-producing mining sites.

The district contains intermediate to low-sulfidation epithermal silver and gold mineralization, hosted in hydrothermal breccias and veins.  Wide, high-grade, shallow hydrothermal breccias have been delineated in the San Marcial Area, including the SE Area discovery. Step-out drilling continues in 2026, with continuous resource growth, principally targeting pure silver resources.

The company has so far outlined an indicated resource of 15 million tonnes of 179 g/t silver equivalent (AgEq) or 85 million ounces. On top of that is an inferred resource of 9.0 million tonnes of 171 g/t AgEq or 49 million ounces.
