T2 Metals Corp. [TWO-TSXV, TWOSF-OTCQB, FSE-WJ6] shares rallied Wednesday after the company announced exploration results from its Aurora Gold Project.

Aurora is a large, underexplored gold project covering 76 square kilometres and located in the historic Dawson Mining District within the Tombstone Gold Belt in the Canadian Yukon. The company said new auger/soil results from recent sampling have identified two untested high-grade gold-copper targets with samples returning 10 g/t gold, 86 g/t silver and 0.74% copper, together with elevated arsenic and bismuth. The company said arsenic and bismuth, along with other pathfinder elements, are associated with reduced intrusion-related gold systems (RIRGS) and skarn-style gold-copper mineralization in the region – two geological settings that commonly host gold in the Tombstone Gold Belt.

“The strongest gold results occur in areas with geological and geochemical features similar to those associated with major gold deposits located elsewhere in the belt,’’ the company said in a press release.

The shares rallied on the news, jumping 11.1% or $0.04 to 40 cents and trade in a 52-week range of 65 cents and 18.5 cents. Aurora, at the time known as Antimony Mountain, was first staked by Yukon prospectors and explorers Shawn Ryan and Cathy Wood in 2004. The area takes its name from the discovery of antimony mineralization in 1916.

The project lies eight kilometres west of Prospector Metals Corp.’s [PPP-TSXV, PMCOF-OTCQB, 1ET0-Frankfurt] flagship ML Project where drilling returned high grades of copper and gold, including 44 metres averaging 13.79 g/t gold and 1.84% copper in hole ML25-31. Aurora is also located 30 kilometres north of Brewery Creek, a past-producing open-pit gold mine that was one of the most northerly operations of its kind in the world.

T2 Metals commenced its first summer exploration program at Aurora in June, 2026, which included LiDAR surveying and rock sampling, geological mapping and RAB drilling. The company reported new outcropping semi-massive stibnite mineralization approximately 300 metres from the Antimony Mountain prospect and new semi-massive chalcopyrite mineralization was also identified in rock float 300 metres northeast of the Rainbow prospect.  “These results are significant as they physically extend known mineralized zones, providing surface evidence of both copper and antimony,’’ the company said in a press release. T2 Metals launched a RAB drill program in July at the TK, JC and Rainbow targets (collectively, the Anaconda prospect) marking the first drill program at Aurora in over 15 years. The RAB program is now complete, and results from this and other summer exploration programs at Aurora are expected to be released during the third and fourth quarter of 2026.

Meanwhile, the company said two new, untested high-priority targets have been identified from 1,619 auger/soil samples that cover an approximate 10-kilometres by 5.0 kilometre area. The company said the new results reinforce and enhance its earlier summer exploration program results, which discovered new antimony and copper gold mineralization, including stibnite in outcrop and chalcopyrite in rock float.
